As a Key Account Manager, you own a portfolio of mid-size shippers with big growth potential. Your mornings start with check-in calls and CRM updates, reviewing every account’s volume, gross margin, and open opportunities. By midday, you’re in front of decision-makers, uncovering new plants, lanes, and services, then turning them into new sub-accounts across our cross-border, domestic, drayage, and special projects divisions. In the afternoon, you work hand in hand with Operations and Pricing to make sure service matches what was promised, resolving issues before the customer ever feels them. You’ll need proven account management and relationship-building experience, ideally in freight brokerage, 3PL, or logistics, a strong grasp of margin, disciplined CRM habits, and the confidence to upsell and cross-sell.
